The Autonomous Province of Vojvodina currently has problematic religious, monarchist and foreign symbols, and has never had its own identity in its markings. It was mostly based on the adaptation of the coats of arms and the flags of the Republic of Serbia, and the markings that were created under the influence of the Habsburg Monarchy. Vojvodina is a territorially rich multicultural environment, with its long history and tradition of many ethnic groups. That's why it deserves the identity that will today most sincerely present the place and its people.

The new flag of Vojvodina represents its greatest feature, which was also written by the poet Mika Antić - the flat and rich fields of Serbia. The blue color represents a wide and large sky above the fertile plain. The spirit of the flag is best said in these verses:

"that Vojvodina of shovels, razors, prayers and slaps,
overgrown with desire, lies, struggle, betrayal and love -
I love it, because we are all broad and ordinary as this plain,
because we are great and cursed on these green grasses,
and millions of blushed crazy star birds
will flutter forever over our tired heads."
— Miroslav Mika Antić

The proportions of the flag of Vojvodina are 3: 2, unlike the current official flag with an unusual 2:1 ratio. Vojvodina has too many unrelated flags and coats of arms, and it is very important to display a unique identity.

The coat of arms of Vojvodina is a blue shield with a yellow bordure, in which there is the symbol of Vojvodina, which signifies the fruitful land (the top of the wheat), agriculture and the three regions of Vojvodina (Srem, Banat and Bačka).
Gonfalon presents the coat of arms of Vojvodina through a vertical flag, without a shield.
